Beach House

Beach House is an American dream pop duo formed in 2004 in Baltimore, Maryland. The members of the band are Victoria Legrand on vocals and guitar and Alex Scally on guitar, keyboard, and backup vocals. They released their debut album in 2006 self-titled Beach House with the label Carpark. They have since released the albums Devotion, Teen Dream, Bloom, Depression Cherry, Thank Your Lucky Stars, and 7. The duo has also released a compilation album titled B-Sides and Rarities and an EP titled iTunes Session. The group’s influences are The Zombies, Brian Wilson, Neil Young, Chris Bell, This Mortal Coil, Tony, Caro and John and more. Legrand’s vocals have been compared to the singers Nico and Kendra Smith. They have performed at big festivals like Coachella Festival, Sasquatch! Music Festival, Pitchfork Music Festival, Treasure Island Music Festival and others. They have also appeared on the shows Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
