Badshah

Badshah is the stage name of the Indian rapper, singer and songwriter Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia. He was born in New Delhi, India on November 19, 1986. He is known for his Hindi, Punjabi and Haryanvi songs that have been featured in a number of Bollywood films, including Jazbaa, Vedalam, Sultan, Shivaay, Bhoomi, Blackmail, Stree, Villain and many more. In 2006 he started his professional career in music in the group band Mafia Mundeer alongside Yo Yo Honey. In 2012 he split from the group and released hit debut single titled “DJ Waley Babu” that reached number one on the Indian iTunes charts and received millions of views within the first 24 hours of being released. Badshah has released albums like Born Star, Reel-Purani Reejh, Band Botal and others. He has also worked with the artists Manj Musik, Navv Inder, Aastha Gill, Gippy Grewal and more. In 2018 he was nominated for a Mirchi Music Award for Best Song Engineer (Recording & Mixing).
