Singer-songwriter Anna von Hausswolf was born Anna Michaela Ebba Electra von Hausswolf on September 6, 1986 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her father is sound artist Carl Michael von Hausswolf and she studied architecture at Chalmers University of Technology.

She released her debut single, “Track of Time,” in February 2010 and was followed by her debut album, “Singing from the Grave,” in March 2010. In July 2013, von Hausswolf released the album “Ceremony” in North America. She has toured worldwide and has sung for the Royal Swedish Opera House’s ballet of “A Midsummer’s Night Dream.”
