Alejandro Sanz

Alejandro Sanz is a Spanish musician born in Madrid, Spain on December 18, 1968. Throughout his career he has won 17 Latin Grammy Awards, three Grammy Awards and has received the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year three times. He started playing the guitar at seven years old and at the age of 19 released his debut album Los Chulos Son Pa’ Cuidarlos in 1989. Over the course of his career he released 11 studio albums, 4 live albums, 5 compilation albums and 36 singles and worked with the labels Warner Music Benelux and Universal Music Group. His albums include 3, Más, No Es lo Mismo, El Tren de los Momentos, Sirope, MTV Unplugged and others. He has also been a featured artist on a number of other songs by musicians like Lena, Shakira, Emeli Sandé and more. Alejandro’s music generally consisted of ballads, but he eventually experimented with a number of other types of music like salsa, rock, hip-hop, jazz, funk and country. He has also made appearances on several films like Celebridade, A que no me dejas, and Lo Que Fui es Lo Que Soy.
