Alec Benjamin

Alec Benjamin is an American singer and songwriter born in Phoenix, Arizona on May 28, 1994. He is best known for his highly successful debut single “Paper Crown” that he made while studying at the University of Southern California in 2014. He released his debut mixtape in 2013 titled Mixtape 1: America with the label White Rope. In 2014 he was signed to the label Columbia Records. He released his second Mixtape in 2018 titled Narrated for You that included the singles “Let Me Down Slowly” featuring Alessia Cara, “The Boy in the Bubble”, “If We Have Each Other”, “Death of a Hero”, “Outrunning Karma” and “1994.” In 2019 he made his debut on television performing his song “Let Me Down Slowly” on the Late Late Show with James Corden.
