King King

King King

King King is a blues rock band, not to be confused with the 1992 single by The Red Devils, or the famous King King Club, an L.A. blues club in bygone days. The line-up is Alan Nimmo (vocals, guitar), Lindsay Coulson (bass), Dale Storr (keyboards), and Dave Raeburn (drums). The group toured around playing gigs until the Monahan Blues Festival in 2010, when their performance earned a signing with the Manhattan record label, and 2011 saw the debut of their studio album “Take My Hand.” It won the British Blues Award for Best Album.

King King isn’t stopping there, vowing to “take this band as far as we can.” They’ve cut three studio albums and a live album, the most recent of which, “Exile and Grace” (2017) was produced with the assistance of Chris Sheldon of Foo Fighters fame. They also had the opportunity to tour with blues legend John Mayall.
