Zack Martin

Zack Martin is an American football player born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 20, 1990. He is an offensive guard for the NFL team the Dallas Cowboys. He started playing football while in high school at Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Martin attended college at the University of Notre Dame on a sports scholarship and played for the college football team while there. In 2014 he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, 16th overall. That same year he was selected to be in the 2014 Pro Bowl and was one of four rookies that were selected. He was also voted to the AP 2014 All-Pro Team, the first rookie to make the team from the Dallas Cowboys since 1969. He has played 78 games over his professional football career and has started in all 78 of them. Martin has had a successful number of years playing with the Cowboys and in 2018 was signed to a six-year contract extension for $84 million.
