Yvette Nicole Brown

Yvette Nicole Brown was born August 12th 1971 in Ohio and is an American actress and comedian. With a career that began in the early 2000’s, the actress is well known for portraying Helen Dubois in the show, Drake & Josh,  she then went on to portray Shirley in the sitcom, Community before voicing Cookie in Pound Puppy, and Luna in Elena of Avalor.

Despite well known television roles, the actress has also enjoyed a long career in film, with credits that include the hit comedy Tropic Thunder, where she portrayed Vivica in the Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black starring blockbuster. She played the supporting role of Dori in the comedy, The Ugly Truth and in 2017 portrayed Neesy in the film Smartass.
