Virginia Bowers was born in Canberra, Australia. She was scouted as a model at the age of fifteen before later attending a drama school in Melbourne to become an actress. Starting off her career with television shows such as Neighbors (2006), Thank God You’re Here (2007), A Bed of Roses (2008), and Canal Road (2008), she would later star in films such as The King’s Daughter (2017) in which she portrayed Marie-Josephe’s mother. She has also played in films such as Australia’s version of Burlesque (2010) as Fiona, Can’t Buy My Love (2017) as Harper, and Any Questions for Ben? (2012) as Steph.

Bowers is also an ethics and ecological awareness advocate in the fashion and cosmetics industries, and she is an ambassador for Dr. Hauschka Skin Care, an Australian-based cosmetics company known for its ethical and ecological production of skin-nourishing makeup and medical products. She has her own blog in which she labels herself as an actress and an eco-beauty and fashion evangelist.
