Trace Adkins

Born in January 13, 1962, Tracy Darrell Adkins or simply Trace Adkins came from Sarepta, Louisiana. His music is a mixture of classic honky tonk, blues, gospel, and rock & roll. At a very young age, Trace learned to play the guitar and then went on to study at Louisiana Tech. Sadly, he experienced an accident which severed his finger, which stopped him for a while.

After several years, he went back to sing for the gospel quartet named New Commitments. Then years after, he pushed another solo career leading to his debut album “Dreamin’ Out Loud” in 1996. His lead single “Every Light in the House” got the third spot, while “I Left Something Turned on at Home” and “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing” took the second and first spots consecutively.
