Tierra Santa

Coming from La Rioja, Spain, Tierra Santa was formed in 1997. The Spanish heavy metal band was comprised of members Angel, Arturo, Roberto, Paco, and Iñaki. They self-produced their debut “Medieval.” They toured with bands like Avalanche and Dio. They signed under Locomotive Music releasing “Legendario.”

Tierra Santa joined Iron Maiden’s tribute album “Transilvania 666” in 1999. They covered the song “Flight of the Icarus.” Their “Tierras De Leyenda” was recorded from February to March 2000. Their maxi-single “Cuando La Tierra Toca El Cielo”   features Marivi Ecganiz and Alicia Arguañano on vocals.
