Sylvester Williams

Sylvester Williams was born in Jefferson City on November 21, 1988. He was a first round, the 28th overall pick of the Denver Broncos during the 2013 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the team.

When his contract expired in 2017, he signed with the Tennessee Titans, but he was but by the team one year after. He was signed to the Detroit Lions in March 2018, but he was cut in October of the same year after playing in six games. In the same month, Williams signed with the Miami Dolphins as a defensive tackle.

In the 2015 season, Williams helped the Broncos win the Super Bowl. He played college football for North Carolina and earned the first-team All-American and first-team All-ACC in 2012.
