Steven Adams

Steven Adams was born on July 20, 1993 in Rotorua, New Zealand. Steven is a professional NBA basketball player who began his career in 2013. Steven attended the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 where he starred on their Division 1 basketball team. During the 2012-12 school year, Adams earned a spot on the Big East All-Rookie Team. In his freshman year, he made University of Pittsburgh’s history by ranking 1st in field goal percentage and 2nd in blocks.

Prior to attending college, Steven played for the Wellington Saints in 2011 for the New Zealand NBL. He was awarded Rookie of the Year. In 2013, Steven was picked as the 12th overall draft pick in the NBA draft. The Oklahoma City Thunder welcomed him to the team and he has been playing for OKC ever since. Steven signed a $100 million four-year contract in 2016 to extend his stay with OKC.
