Simon Harrison

Simon Harrison was born on September 6, 1969 in Northampton, England. Harrison started his racing career by becoming popular for driving his Peugeot in the 1995 British Touring Car Championship. He started as a competitor in the local karting championship before moving up to the professional level (World Touring Car Championship).

Harrison has won many awards, including: Regional karting champion in 1982, Winner of karting’s Golden Streering Wheel Award in 1985, sixth in the Junior British Championships in 1986, Winner of the Jim Russell Racing Driver’s School 30th Anniversary Scholarship in 1987, Formula First Championship (third place) in 1989, Formula Ford Championship (third place) in 1991, National Saloon Car Championships twice (1994, 1999) and the Production Class of the British Touring Car Championship in 2001.
