Shed Seven is a rock band formed in York, England in 1990. The members of the group are Paul Banks, Thomas Gladwin, Joe Johnson, Alan Leach, and Rick Witter. The group’s debut single “Mark / Casino Girl” was released in 1994. In the same year, Shed Seven dropped “Dolphin” which climbed to No. 28 of the UK charts. The next release, “Speakeasy” also made it to the UK charts peaking at No. 24. In 1999, Shed Seven released the album Going for Gold which spawned the hits On Standby, Chasing Rainbows and the Going for Gold Single. This was followed by Truth be Told two years later. In 2008, the band released See Youse At the Barras. The next release from Shed Seven came almost a decade later. In 2017, they released Instant Pleasures which includes the song Room in My House.
