Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is an Indian actor, producer, and is known colloquially as King Khan. With more than 80 Bollywood films under his belt and 14 Filmfare Awards he has a worldwide presence and dedicated fan following. Rising to prominence with the romantic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995, the film has since been playing continuously in cinemas all over India for over ten years.

Known for his debonair good looks and romantic suave style, he is known best for his toles in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Devdas, Swades, Chak De! India and is best known internationally for his work in My Name is Khan.  His highest grossing film is the romantic comedy Chennai Express and the film, Happy New Year. He has been honoured with the Padma Shri from the Indian Government, a high civilian award.
