Savannah Guthrie

Savannah Guthrie is an American broadcast journalist and attorney born in Melbourne, Australia on December 27, 1971. She is the a co-anchor on the NBC news morning show Today. She got her first job in broadcasting in 1993 at the ABC affiliate KMIZ in Columbia, Missouri. In 1995 she moved to Tucson, Arizona and got a job with the NBC affiliate KVOA. After five years of working at KVOA she moved to Washington D.C. and got a job at WRC-TV. She went back to school to resume her higher education and went on to work for the law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a litigation associate. In 2004 she became a national trial correspondent for Court TV. She became a correspondent for NBC News in 2007 and in 2011 became the co-host of the show Today. While with the show, she has become known for her in depth-interviews. In 2015 she made a cameo in the film Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!. She also has a large following on social media with 890k followers on Twitter and 750k followers on Instagram.
