Santan Dave (Dave)

David Santan was born on June 5, 1998 in Streatham, South London. He is better known as Dave or Santan Dave. He is a British rapper and hip-hop artist from England. He has collaborated with Drake, Fraser T Smith, and AJ Tracey. One of his hit singles, “Wanna Know,” was remixed by Drake on his label, OVO Sound Radio.

Santan’s solo album Six Paths was released in 2016 and hit number 7 on the UK R&B chart. His other album titled Game Over was released in November of 2017 and reached number 2 on the UK R&B chart. It also topped the UK Independent Singles and Albums Charts and placed 3rd on the UK Independent Singles and Albums Charts. He also has other hit singles that placed high on the UK Billboard charts including “Samantha,” “How I Met My Ex”, “No Words,” and “Wanna Know” (featuring Drake). Santan won Best Newcomer Act at the 2017 MOBO Awards.
