Rosa Acosta

Rosa Acosta is a model, blogger, dancer and social media influencer born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic on April 30, 1984. In 2002 she became the youngest solo dancer to perform at Ballet Nacional Dominicano at 18 years old. She was named Eye Candy of the Year in 2009 by the magazine XXL. In 2010 and 2012 she was named Model of the Year and Cover Model of the Year by the Urban Model Awards. In 2013 she became the brand ambassador of the Moriche Palm Diet and the face of Smoke Liquor. Acosta has appeared in music videos for the artists Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Omarion, Drake and others. She has also had roles and made appearances on the shows and films Los Blancos, Still a Teen Movie, Bird, The Playboy Morning Show, Facade: Chapter 4, Wild ’N Out, and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. In 2015 she launched her own clothing boutique named Cossamia and in 2017 she launched her Perfume Rosa by Rosa Acosta Perfume. She has a large following on social media with 1.6 million followers on Instagram, 290k followers on Twitter, and 36k followers on Facebook.
