Robert Ayers

Robert Ayers was born as Robert Earnest Ayers Jr. in Jersey City, New Jersey on September 6, 1985. He was the first round, the 18th overall pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2009 NFL Draft. He was the defensive end for the Broncos while he stayed with the team.

Ayers went to the University of Tennessee where he started as the outside linebacker. He became the defensive end in his second year.

After his contract with the Broncos, he signed a two-year contract with the New York Giants. He signed a three-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016, but he was released in 2018. He signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Lions and was released the next day. He is currently a free agent.
