Redman

Redman, born Reginald Noble, is a rapper and actor from Newark, New Jersey. Initially discovered as a DJ by EPMD member Erick Sermon, Redman signed to Def Jam and released a string of successful album throughout the 90s. With singles such as “Tonight’s Da Night,” “Whateva Man,” and “Pick It Up,” Redman quickly became a major artist in what is now considered to be a golden era for hip hop, and Def Jam at its very best. In 1999, Redman released the collaborative album Blackout! with Method Man to critical acclaim, making the two rappers one of hip hop’s more notable duos. Redman has remained active since through a number of guest features, as well as acting in movies such as How High, and shows such as The Fairly OddParents.
