Queen

Queen is a rock band formed in London, England in 1970. The group is made up of John Deacon, Brian May, Freddie Mercury, and Roger Taylor.

May and Taylor were part of the band Smile before they formed Queen with Mercury. Queen released its first album Queen in 1973. Queen II, released a year after, made it to the UK charts. The group started to become popular outside the UK with the release of the albums Sheer Heart Attack and A Night at the Opera which includes the hit track which stayed in the UK charts for nine weeks, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Queen also released the songs “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You” on the album they released in 1977, News of the World. In 1980, the band released the single “Another One Bites the Dust” which also became a big success.
