Polo G is an American rapper born in Chicago, Illinois on January 6, 1999. He became well known after releasing the single “Finer Things.” The music video for the song received over 12 million views within 3 months of being released. He started rapping in his teen years and at 17 recorded his first song “Back That Ass Up Remix” with Lil Blast and Lil Felton. In 2018 he released a number of singles, including “Never Cared”, “The Come Up”, “Welcome Back”, “Hollywood”, and “Finer Things.” That same year he was signed by the record company Columbia Records. He has collaborated with artists like Lil Durk, Lud Foe, Lil Baby, and G Herbo. He also has a large following on social media with over 500k followers on Instagram and over 300k subscribers on YouTube.
