Peter Fonda

Peter Fonda is an American actor and director born in New York City on February 23, 1940. He is best known for his roles in the films Ulee’s Gold, The Wild Angels, and Easy Rider, which he produced and co-wrote. Peter started his career in theater at the age of 21 appearing in the productions of Harvey, Blood, Sweat, and Stanley Poole. In 1962 he made his debut in television, guest starring in the series Naked City and went on to be in a number of other series like The Defenders, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, ER, Hawaii Five-O, CSI: NY, among others. He made his debut in film in 1963 in the film Tammy and the Doctor and has since been in a multitude of other films, including The Trip, Easy Rider, Open Season, Futureworld, Certain Fury, The Rose Garden, Ghost Rider, 3:10 to Yuma, The Runner, The Wild Angels, and many more. Throughout his career he has been nominated for several awards for his work in films and television and has won two Golden Globe Awards.
