Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson was born on November 18, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. He debuted in the 1996 film Bottle Rocket before co-writing the scrips for Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums, the latter of which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. He had small roles in Anaconda and Armageddon before landing a comedy lead in Shanghai Noon (2001). He starred in Shanghai Knights, the sequel, in 2003 and later worked on a film remake of Starsky & Hutch (2004).

His 2005 film Wedding Crashers earned him worldwide fame, and he went on to star in Cars, Meet the Fockers, Zoolander and Night at the Museum. In 2008, he starred in the film adaptation of the memoir Marley & Me. He gained critical acclaim for his lead role in Midnight in Paris (2011). He also starred in The Grand Budapest Hotel in 2014.
