Natasha Jonas

Natasha Jonas was born on June 18, 1984, on Liverpool, Merseyside.

Jonas initially planned to be a football player. She went to the United States on a football scholarship at the St. Peter’s College.

She is a five-time ABA Champion. She bagged a gold medal at the 2009 Women’s European Union Amateur Boxing Championship. In 2010, she received another gold medal at the 2010 GB Amateur Boxing Championship. In 2012, she was a bronze medalist at the AIBA Women’s World Amateur Boxing Championships. She also participated in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games held in London. She held the WBA International female super featherweight title.

Aside from her boxing career, Jonas also appeared in the documentary Knockout Scousers. The Channel 4 show followed her in her pursuit for Olympic qualification. Jonas was the first female British boxer to qualify in the Olympics.
