Montana of 300, born as Walter Anthony Bradford on March 3rd, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois started rapping when he was 15. In 2008, he and some friends started the rap group 300 which was named after the movie where the famous 300 Spartan warriors that fought against 300,000 Persian troops at the battle of Thermopylae. Montana’s musical style is influenced by artists such as Tupac, DMX, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne.

Montana released his first mixtape in 2014 called Cursed with a Blessing. The tape featured hot tracks like “Holy Ghost” and “Fuck Her Brains Out.” In 2016 he dropped his debut solo album, Fire in the Church, through the label Fly Guy Entertainment. The album featured a notable appearance from Kevin Gates on multiple tracks. The album broke into the Billboard 200 and peaked at number 39. In 2017 Montana released 2 albums, a compilation album with other artists from Fly Guy Entertainment called No Surrender No Retreat, and his second solo album called Don’t Doubt the God. His second solo album charted in at number 22 on the U.S. Independent Artists Chart.
