Markieff Morris
Markieff Morris was born on September 2, 1989, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a professional basketball player, playing the power forward position. He played for Prep Charter APEX Academy in high school, Kansas University (2008 -2011) and he was later drafted to play for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft. He later transferred to the Washington Wizards. On February 8, 2012, Morris was challenged to the 2012 Rising Star Challenge. Besides Amar’e Stoudemire, he was the first basketball player from Suns to make an appearance. He also won the Second-team All-Big 12 in 2011.
