Mark Chesnutt
Marc Chesnutt was born in 1963 in Beaumont, Texas. He is an American country music singer was introduced to the music industry by his father, who began taking him to Nashville, Tennessee at age 17. He spent years releasing singles on small local labels, and this eventually paid off in the form of a loyal fan base and a record deal with MCA Records, who released his debut album Too Cold At Home in 1990. The title track went to number 3 in the country charts and was followed by his first number 1 hit, Brother Jukebox. His second album Longnecks & Short Stories spawned yet more top five singles, a pattern followed by his subsequent releases. Chesnutt’s most recent album, Tradition Lives, came out in 2016.
