Marcia Griffiths, born Marcia Llyneth Griffiths on November the 23rd 1949 in Jamaica and is a Jamaican singer. With a career that began in 1964 she was discovered after being heard by The Blues Busters who heard her singing, her performance was so impressive that she was immediately offered recording contracts. A career that began with duets with Bob Marley and Bob Andy, her first solo hit Feel Like Jumping was a massive hit.

Releasing a steady stream of music for many years, Griffiths has a sound that is known as smooth, strong and captivating. With fourteen studio albums released to date, her last album Marcia Griffiths & Friends, a compilation album made with other artists such as Duane Stephesen, Sanchez and Busy Signal to name a few.
