Maino

Maino is the stage name of the American rapper Jermaine Coleman. He was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York on August 30, 1973. He is best known for his singles “Hi Hater” and “All the Above.” Maino has sold around 4 million digital singles. In 2003 he started an independent record label named Hustle Hard Entertainment. In 2005 he was signed to the label Universal Records, but in 2007 left the label. In 2008 he signed himself and his label to Atlantic Records. Maino released his debut mixtape in 2005 titled Real Recognize Real and has since released the mixtapes King of the City, The Hand of God, Tuck Ya Chain In, Maino is the Future, The Art of War, Respect the Jux, I Am Who I Am, The Mafia, Maino Madness and more. He released his debut studio album in 2009 titled If Tomorrow Comes…. The album reached number 1 on the Billboard Rap Albums Chart, number 4 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, and number 25 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. In 2012 he released his second studio album titled The Day After Tomorrow. He has released 2 studio albums, 1 compilation album, 18 mixtapes, and 3 EPs.
