Luke Rockhold was born Luke Skyler Rockhold in Santa Cruz, California, United States on October 17, 1984. He was ranked as the No. 5 MMA Fighter of the Year for 2014 and he maintained the rank in 2015. As of February 11, 2019, he is the No. 36 Current Best Pound For Pound MMA Fighter and he sits on No. 9 Current Best MMA Middleweight Fighter. He fights out of San Jose, California and he is affiliated with the American Kickboxing Academy. His last fight was in UFC 221 where he lost to Yoel Romero on February 2018. He made his UFC debut on May 2013 where he lost to Vitor Belfort by wheel kick and punches. Aside from his UFC career, he is also a professional model who participated in the New York Fashion Week.
