Louis the Child

Louis the Child is an electronic music group based out of Chicago, Illinois.  The group was formed in 2013 and consists of members Robert David Hauldren, born September 7th, 1996, and Frederic Judson Kennett, born on October 19th, 1996. Robert began to DJ under the alias Haul Pass in 2011 while Fredric began producing music in high school under the moniker Fatboy.  The duo cite artists such as Madeon, Flume, Porter Robinson, and Odesza as their primary musical influences.

Louis the Child began performing in 2013 in small local clubs. In the same year they released their debut EP entitled Dimensions. In 2015 the group broke through to prominence with their single “It’s Strange” featuring K. Flay. The single received recognition from high profile artists such as Taylor Swift and was included on the soundtrack to 2K Sports Fifa 16 video game. The duo went on tour in 2015 and performed at major music festivals such as Coachella, Electric Forest, Electric Zoo New York, Lollapalooza, and Moonrise. In 2016 Louis the Child added a new band member named Pell and formed the band Pelican Child. In 2017 Louis the Child released their second EP entitled Love is Alive.
