Lorde, bown Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor on the 7th of November 1996 in Takapuna, Auckland is a New Zealand record producer, singer and songwriter. With a career that began in her teens when she signed with Universal Music group, her debut song Royals was released in 2013 and reached number one in worldwide charts, she then dropped her debut album Pure Heroine, the second single Team was also a hit.

Soon after Lorde curated the soundtrack for the film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and the song Yellow Flicker Bear from the album nominated her for a Golden Globe, she then followed the success of the album and film with her second album Melodrama after a short hiatus. So far, the artist has won over forty awards out of over eighty nominations, most notably winning two Grammys.
