Lance Bass

Lance Bass is an American singer, actor, dancer, author, and film and television producer. He is best known for being the bass singer for the American boy band NSYNC. Bass started singing in his church choir and started auditioning for local performance groups. He joined the Mississippi Show Stoppers, the Attache Show Choir, and Seven Card Stud. In 1995 he got a call from Justin Timberlake to audition for NSYNC and became part of the group. In 1997 they were signed to the label RCA and released their debut studio album ’N Sync. The group became incredibly successful and released two more albums, No Strings Attached and Celebrity. The band went on five nationwide tours and sold between 50 and 70 million albums. After their third album, the group disbanded in 2002. In 2018 the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2000 Bass started the music management company Free Lance Entertainment. That same year he made his debut on television in the show 7th Heaven and continued landing roles and making appearances in the shows All That, Rick and Steve, Review, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Real Husbands of Hollywood, Hand of God, Finding Prince Charming, Cupcake Wars and others. He also made his film debut in 2000 in the film Longshot and has since had roles in the films On The Line, Love Wrecked, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Such Good People, Zoolander and more. In 2007 he released his autobiography Out of Sync.
