Laci Green
Laci Green was born on October 18, 1989 in Utah. She is an activist and YouTube personality who is best known for her peer-led sex education series Sex Plus which she launched while she was studying law at UC Berkeley in California. Green started her YouTube channel as a hobby; however, as it became more popular she turned her interest into sex education. She reached more than 1,000,000 subscribers which gave her enough notoriety to appear on Dr. Phil on January 2013. She has taken a stance of believing that people should “talk about sex in a way that isn’t shameful, awkward or weird.” She won the 2016 Streamy Award for Science and Education and has since collaborated with government offices, universities and military groups as well with MTV and Planned Parenthood on sexual health and sexual violence prevention.
