La Maquinaria Nortena

La Maquinaria Norteña was formed 1994 in Russell, New Mexico. The group was formed by five musicians including Polo Urias (Vocals), Keith Nieto (sax), Erick Urias (percussion), Jimmy Torres (keyboard), and Aarón Urias (drummer). Their styles include Norteno and Mexican music. In 1994, Fonovisa signed La Maquinaria Norteña into their Record Label. In 2006, the group was split into 2 Nieto and Urias left the group with his brothers, Rory and Tony. In 2007, they released their first album. The group released their fourth album late in 2013, which was among the top ten albums on the regional Mexican chart.
