Kristaps Porzingis

Kristaps Porzingis was born August 2, 1995. He is a Latvian professional basketball player from Liepāja, Latvia. He plays both power forward and center positions for New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Knicks. Kristaps Porzingis has played on various teams including the Baloncesto Sevilla from 2011- 2015, Sevilla B from 2011- 2012 and the New York Knicks beginning in 2015. He has won many awards like ACB All-Young Players Team in 2014 and 2015, EuroCup Rising Star in 2015, NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2016 and NBA Skills Challenge champion in 2017.
