Kirko Bangz

Born Kirk Jerel Randle on August 20, 1989, rapper Kirko Bangz began rapping when he was just a teenager, yet he studied communications when he was in college. He grew up in Houston, Texas, and in 2009 he released his debut mixtape Procrastination Kills, which attracted D-Will, who would later become his manager. Kirko Bangz released his single off the mixtape name “What Yo Name Iz?”, which gained him recognition and whose remix features Bun B, Big Sean, and Wale. After releasing a handful of mixtapes throughout 2012, he was featured on the cover of XXL Magazine as one of their Freshman Class of 2013. As of 2014, Bangz released 8 mixtapes in total, featuring vocals from French Montana, Wale, YG, and many others.
