King Los

King Los, born Carlos Coleman, is a rapper and producer from Baltimore, Maryland who first signed to Diddy’s label in 2005 through a local label. After the label collapsed and Los lost his deal, he began to release music independently. He released eight mixtapes between the years of 2008 to 2011, finally breaking out with The Crown Ain’t Safe at the end of 2011. Boasting features from the likes of DMX and Twista, and production from Lifted and Jahlil Beats, the mixtape started gaining traction online, and within a year Diddy announced that yet again he had signed King Los to his label. In the next few years, he released the critically acclaimed mixtape Becoming King, and left Diddy’s label in favor of RCA, which distributed his debut album GodMoneyWar in 2015.
