Kid Astray

Kid Astray is a six piece Norwegian indie-pop band based out of Oslo. The band consists of Benjamin Giørtz, Elizabeth Wu, Even Steine, Alex Meek, Håkon Carlin, and Jakob Bechmann. Their debut single, “The Mess”, received attention from Norwegian radio station NRK when it was named Untouched Song of the Week in October 2014. Their follow up single, “Best of Us”, received international airplay in the UK. With all members under 25, Kid Astray has been praised for its energetic, youthful approach to pop. “The Mess” was recorded in six hours in a basement studio and the music video has been viewed over 100,000 times on Youtube. Kid Astray was included in the 2014 Berlin Independent Night and has performed at most major Norwegian festivals. They have signed a record deal with Cosmos, an independent Swedish record label.
