Kenan Thompson

Kenan Thompson is an American actor and comedian. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia his career began with the theatre company the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, and his earliest role was as an entertainment reporter for Real News for Kids with CNN.

Best known for being a cast member of NBC’s highly popular sketch comedy show, Saturday Night live, he has worked with them since 2013 and is the longest tenured cast member with them in the shows history. As a teenager, he was a cast member of Nickelodeon’s All That, he has also played Kenan in the sitcom Kenan & Kel and Russ in the Mighty Ducks franchise.  Most recently, outside of SNL, he has worked on television shows such as Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and the film Going in Style.
