Kanye West

Kanye West, born Kanye Omari West on June 8th, 1977 in Georgia and is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, fashion designer and rapper. With a career that began as a producer, the artist has released eight studio albums and four mixtapes as of 2018.

With very few singles that have not charted high and gone Platinum, West is thought to be a definitive talent in the rap world. Some of his best known songs include Gold Digger, released with Jamie Foxx, Stronger, FourFiveSeconds, Champions and 2018’s hit, Ye vs. the People. A highly acclaimed artist, West has been nominated for over seven hundred accolades and has won over two hundred awards, including twenty one Grammy Awards. A prolific influencer, the artist is known for being outspoken.
