Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a New York based actress who is best known for her reprisal of Elaine Bennett in the television series, Seinfeld, and as her starring role in The New Adventures of Old Christine. Her role in Seinfeld landed Julia a Golden Globe Award in 1991 and an Emmy in 1996. Julia also won an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series’ in 2006 for her role in The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Julia studied drama at Northwestern University, and was a regular on Saturday Night Live for two seasons in 1982. She has also played parts in the movies North (1994), Father’s Day (1997), and A Bug’s Life (1998). Julia has won eight total Emmy awards, and has been nominated for numerous more, as well as an unprecedented number of Grammys.
