Josh Ritter

Born on October 21, 1976, Josh Ritter came from Moscow, Idaho, United States. His musical influences are the likes of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. After hearing the song “The Girl from the North Country,” he was inspired to buy his own guitar. In college, he dropped his neuroscience major and pursued music as career.

In 1999, Ritter recorded and self-released his self-titled debut. In 2002, his “The Golden Age of Radio” made critics notice him, which later then led to Signature Sounds Recording to sign him a deal, reissuing the said album. One of his tracks was signed for HBO series “Six Feet Under” for its end credits. His single “Me & Jiggs” became part of Irish Top 40.
