Born in Pensacola, Florida on December 8, 1985, Josh Donaldson is the first round, 48th overall pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft. His current position is third baseman. He went to Auburn University. He made his debut on April 20, 2010. In 2015, he received the AL Hank Aaron Award and the AL MVP. He was also the recipient of the Major League Player of the Year. He is a three-time All-Star Game pick from 2014 to 2016. He became part of the Oakland Athletics in 2012, and he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays, and in 2018, he was signed to Cleveland Indians. He became a free agent in October 2018, and he opted to sign with the Atlanta Braves in November of that year.
