Jose Aldo

Jose Aldo was born José Aldo da Silva Oliveira Junior in Manaus, Brazil on September 9, 1986. As of February 11, 2019, he is the No. 3 Current Best MMA Featherweight Fighter and he ranks No. 14 Current Best Pound For Pound MMA Fighter. He was the No. 15 MMA Fighter of the Year in 2013, No. 10 in 2014, and No. 12 in 2019.  He is known by the nickname Junior and he is affiliated with Nova União. His last fight was in February 2019, UFC on ESPN+2, where he defeated Renato Moicano. He was part of the World Extreme Cagefighting. During his WEC debut, he defeated Alexandre Franca Nogueira. After the WEC merger with UFC, Aldo was transferred and he became the inaugural UFC Featherweight Champion.
