Joe Jackson

Joe Jackson is an English musician, singer, and songwriter born in Burton upon Trent, England on August 11, 1954. Before releasing his debut single Jackson spent a number of years studying music and playing clubs. In 1978 he released his debut single titled “Is She Really Going Out With Him.” The song was an instant hit and that same year he was signed to the label A&M Records. He released his debut studio album in 1979 titled Look Sharp! He has since released the albums I’m the Man, Beat Crazy, Night and Day, Body and Soul, Big World, Blaze of Glory, Night Music, Heaven & Hell, Will Power, The Duke, Rain, Fast Forward, Fool and more. In total he released 21 studio albums, 10 live albums, and 5 compilation albums. 14 of his studio albums have charted on the Billboard 200 albums chart and 13 have charted in the UK. In 1999 he wrote an autobiography titled A Cure For Gravity. Throughout his career he has received 5 Grammy Award nominations for his music.
