Joe Diffie

Joe Diffie is an American country singer born in Velma-Alma, Oklahoma on December 28, 1958. Diffie started his music career in the gospel group Higher Purpose and the bluegrass band named Special Edition. He built a recording studio and was touring with Special Edition. In 1990 he was signed as a solo artist with the record label Epic and released his debut studio album titled A Thousand Winding Roads. He has since released the albums Regular Joe, Honky Tonk Attitude, Third Rock from the Sun, Life’s So Funny, Twice Upon a Time, A Night to Remember, In Another World, Tougher Than Nails, Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album, and All in the Same Boat. He has also released six compilation albums. Diffie has released his music and albums through the labels Epic Nashville, Monument Nashville, Broken Bow, and Rounder.
