Born in January 10, 1995, James Vivino or publicly known as Jimmy V, came from Paterson, New Jersey. His music genre revolves in rock & roll, jazz, and R&B. He began his music by learning how to play trumpets. His music influence was his father. In high school, Jimmy was the lead trumpet and arranged for big bands.

Then, he heard Al Kooper play “Blood, Sweat & Tears” using an organ. This inspired Jimmy to learn the organ. In 1978, he learned playing the guitar with guidance from Jack Wilkins. With a rich musical background, Vivino became renowned artist. His first solo album was entitled “Do What Now?” where he was joined by the likes of Al Kooper, Harvey Brooks, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Reese Wynans, Sam Bush, and John Sebastian.
